Hey everyone, I've been taking it easy

for a bit getting ready for the big day but Im ready to get back in the saddle. Im working on a sketch for a member now and have a couple more after them then I'll be ready for some new ones.

BBredmom, that is a neat sketch. I can print that out and transfer the image. I'll check around for an appropriate font for you. If you would like to look as well, I use urbanfonts.com. My favorites come from the "sophisticated" and "handwritten" sections.

I'll get with you via PM when I have the design completed for you.

Hanginwitmypeeps, I'll post a d'uccle sketch when I get some time...probably early next week.

I've had a bit of time this evening and wanted to show two sketches I did today.

First up is a mille boy

and next up is a few sumatras and a brahma roo.

I want to remind you that the painted bird is always a huge improvement from a sketch. This is just ...floorplans to the home

I'd really love one with a collage of rare breed birds on it...something I could hang up in the house with my farm name on it...and maybe 6+ different breeds....

That would be neat. I have long boards so the possibilities are endless

The price for one bird is $50. A quad of smaller portraits (like the sumatras -each bird being 7" or so tall) would be $100 so 6 nice size chicken portraits would be pretty expensive and would take me a while to complete...but Im game. Think about it and pm me if you'd like to go for it.

DO you have an examples of Barred Rocks? Or, if you go to my website it has the view of the mountains from my house...would that be too hard to put on a sign?

I saw "Ben's knob" That wouldn't be a problem at all. If you'd like, I can do a sketh for you...free of course! and, if you like it, I'll start on a sign for you.

Also let me know, what wording you would like... Barred Feather Farm?.. and I'll send you a few font selections to choose from.
