Homemade cages, help please!

I stopped in to get wire for rabbit cages, and that plastic mesh definately would not have worked, period. I had assumed that it would be sturdier than that.

I bought some bobs from a guy a coupla weeks ago who really likes the plastic coated wire he was calling it rat wire it was 1/2" X 1/2" he had a coupla really nice avieries he was telling me rats had a hard time breaking through that size wire

plastic mesh is not to good for any cage. all it takes is a dog or a bump to hit it and it stretches.it also is not a sturdy floor, it will bounce a lot i use 1/2 mesh for my bottom floor.never use 1/4 its to small and very thin.
