Here are a few pictures of the cooler incubator. Total of 18 eggs set

A total of 8 died. We were sad, especially since this was our first time using an incubator.
The first two died early on- red ring of death and just stopped growing, chick about 1/2 inch long.
Will some of you please look at these pictures and maybe tell me if you are able to what went wrong. We opened the eggs yesterday , Friday.
I believe on day 18 our temperature spiked to 114 for a little while and humidity dropped. We also put the eggs in the refrigerator my mistake for a little while. Only 1 egg truly had nothing in it. All the others had something at least growing, the smallest failed was about 1/2 inch.
Some of the eggs it looks like made it passed day 8. This is so sad to us.
This is egg #9, the only one with the air cell on a slant from the first day.
.
#9, 5 days overdue
This one was so close. #14
egg #3
egg #10
opened another egg
Sorry for camera focus. Other eggs just held blobs.
Another tragedy happened to us. One of my Black Copper Marans was found dead.

We are very happy DH and myself that some 10 out of the 18 hatched.
Thank you
