I've been reading the forum to get some good feed formulas.

my neighbor and I grind our own feed with a hammer mill.

We have corn, wheat, and oats, and sunflowers from our harvest.

Both of our new flocks have just hit 18 weeks.

How fine should we grind a mash feed?

Do the sunflowers get ground with everything else or simply mixed in>

I would say a corse ground should be ok.. As for the Sunflower seed I would grind them in your mix all so..
When you mix your feed you will have to add a Vitamin/Mineral mix to it..
