Just made one of llamagirls feeders. Lowes had 4 foot section of 4 inch pvc so I just left it that length and put a cap one it. You can learn alot on this website.

Sure! Make the same think lane-h did and drill 2 holes at the top to run wire/rope through to hang it!

I have an old vinegar bottle and a cut up plastic dog treat bucket as my feeder for my girls

True! Sounds easy enough to put the hanger into it!

I'm not sure how to attach the chick feeder to the PVC... In the original is it screwed on or does it just sit there by gravity? Hmmmm.... Loving this idea!!!

Heh, I took a cat litter bucket, the rectangular type, drilled three 1 1/4" holes on each side and two on the ends just a little bit up from the bottom and placed it in a large rectangular cat litter pan. I happened to have a triangular rock that fit well to direct the feed to the holes and weight the bucket down.
The cat litter pan came as a set with two pans, a screen and a deflector so I use the second pan upside down to cover the feeder at night, using the deflector as a protector against other critters coming in to feed at night. It works great and only needs filling about once a week.

For watering I do have a watering jug we purchased but I also took a plastic gallon jug and a plastic planter base and made another watering jug. Drilled a hole in the center of the lid and the planter base and screwed them together with some sealer between the lid and the base.

They do look a sight but they work.
