Homemade Feeders..PLEASE POST PICS

this is not the best pic, but it is 5'6" of 4" pvc and two elbows with the second one cut across the top so more can eat at one time. It holds at least 25 lbs of food. It is attached to the coop wall with metal plumbers tape and screws.

I was in desperate need of some ideas for space saving feeders and waterers. Thanks to everyone that has posted their ideas and to the person that sent me the links.

The following pictures are for a homemade feeder and watering device. For the feeder I used 3” PVC pipe placed at an angle with some “Y”'s for feeding access for the birds. I also made it accessible from the outside so I do not have to open the coop door to fill it. I fill the pipe to the top and the girls go to town!

For the watering device, I took a section of 1”1/4, capped both ends and installed 3 nipples, courtesy of Neil Grassbaugh. I then mounted the pipe on shelve track so that I can adjust the height as the chickens grow. I then added a drain on one end along with a vent on the other end. I then took an igloo cooler, drilled out the bottom and inserted a stem and connected both devices via flex tubing. So far everything has been working great. The cooler works nice because I can keep the water nice and cold by placing a frozen soda bottle in the cooler.
