Homemade Hatcher Experiment

It's ridiculous but it's stuck...in my head.

Street Foods for everyone.
My Ancona drake is named Terry after a theoretical cat named Teriyaki that has yet to exist. It's a bit of a story... How Terry got his name
I cooked for 11 years, and to be honest I love food names for animals.

The other day I was reading this thread which inspired me to try this experiment.

The goal is to make a hatcher out of stuff one can get a local store instead of buying an incubator.

Parts list:
  • 15-quart plastic bin
  • Heating pad
  • Temp/humidity sensor
  • Towel for the base of the bin
  • Small container to hold wet cloth
  • Small towel for small container
  • Gatorade lids to keep container off of the counter top because it's too much of a heatsink.

I still haven't drilled air holes, but will try that next.

I think I have figured out how to get the temperature stable.
