Wow thanks for the advice... I'm definitely going to grab another dimmer since i told the hubs ("the green is the ground hunny, i'm reading it right now"), which proceeding into, "no i think it goes like this" wait for it.... wait for it.... BOOM! "Yeah hunny, let's turn the house into an incubator."
LOL, so i'm going to grab another, as well as hook my CPU fan up. It's a 4-pin so this will definitely be interesting. It's an Everflow CPU fan with yellow, green, blue, and black wires and almost 4 inches. Think I only need one?
As for the thermometer, this is the one i have (indeed it is acu-rite): http://www.acurite.com/weather/thermometers/thermometer-with-wired-probe.html
The springfield thermometer you mentioned, is it the suction cup one? does it read humidity? Also, while i have you and all this amazing advice - the fan that I have requires 12v DC power, should I stick with making a series circuit of the two 6volts?
Sweets - going to try to do it today! =) Have the 25watt light ready to hook up to the dimmer.
Thanks so much again for all you guys' advice!!
