So my sweet Silkie cross hen Sushi has gone broody and is sitting on about 10 eggs. Being so small I'm scared that she's not big enough to sit on them all so I have decided to make a incubator out of an aquarium. The outside is wrapped in bubble wrap for installation, the front opening has a plastic sheet over it, and we have a lab grade thermostat hooked up to a large light that sits outside of the aquarium ( it's flipped over on its side with the light pointing towards the middle outside of the plastic screen. ). So far the thermometer reads 98 and if it goes above that the thermostats turns off the light and turns if back on when the temp reads 96. Is this an on set up? Do I need anything else? Help!!!

I just hatched these three today, dry hatch they are still drying. 3 more coming.
them in incubator. today is 21.

these guys we a different group in the same kind of bator.
I didn't have room on my counter- I had them on the floor. and out side temp was 5. held 102 mostly.
