You can calibrate them in ice water but they can drift in accuracy so they may of may not be the same accuracy at 100 as they are at 32. Not as much of an issue with the pricey ones though.
Mine that I am using right now drifts about .7 degrees between 32 an 100. I have had others that drifted 2 or 3 degrees.
