Homemade incubators? Do they work?

So hard to take a pic with the glass door so it looks funny but here we go... we bought an "inkbird" thermostat. Re used the fans and the module to power them (my hubby is good at this stuff so he wired it up). Ceramic heat bulbs. We just used some scrap lumber we had around to build the turner. He got the one shelf on crooked lol but it works. I just hatched 7/9 nargasett turkey eggs I had in there.

We have an electric smoker we hardly ever use I have seriously considered hatching eggs in there a few times. Especially after I saw the electric skillet incubator work.
