I recently got a Brinsea Mini Advance II incubator. I have yet to test it out on a batch of fertile eggs, but I did let it run for 24 hours and it works great! The problem is that it only holds 7 eggs. I thought it would be fine when I bought it but now I have come to the conclusion that I want to order some Bobbi Porto Silkie hatching eggs. I looked up the 14 egg insert but all the reviews said that it is too small to hold bantam eggs, only quails. Is there a way to make a homemade insert for the incubator, that would work? I have no idea myself, but I wanted to put it out there. Let me know what you think! :)

Is this what you have???

Lets be realistic. It is physically small in size, so making different inserts will not make any larger volume.
I understand that you are faced with larger quantity of eggs and have no Idea how to do ALL of them at one time.
There are other incubators out there , and for less $$$ than this one that can handle more eggs.
I understand that you are trying your best to do with what you currently have. :thumbsup

Thanks for your response! I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part that I would only want to hatch 7 eggs at a time...
If you're wanting to do more than 7 eggs, I'd sell the Brinsea and get a bigger incubator. I use GQF styrofoam tabletop models, they hold 42 eggs.
Do you have to manually turn these ones?
