Homemade Kennel Cover

Yes, there's a small gap, but this doesn't make any difference (I've been using mine for months now). If it didn't fit the kennel squarely, your kennel wasn't square. That's not the fault of the product but of how it was set up.

The gap was large enough, that i felt a critter could squeeze through, seeing as the tarp is held on with stretchable bungee's. Just my opinion, sorry. I felt I coud spend the same and have something much more secure, permanent. (Unsure how 10x10 panels, secured with the same hardware on all sides, could be that "off" square. I guess I suck at assembling?)

Um . . . It's not intended to keep out critters. How could it?? It's a tarp. Not to mention the huge gap at the ends (where the gable is)!

You have to have a wire cover on the pen to keep out critters. The only purpose of the tarped pitched roof is to keep out RAIN!

Yup! I know. I do have a hardware cloth top. I was only giving my opinion. Sorry! I'm glad others had a better experience, it just wasn't for me.

We had a WET sloppy snow last night...the run is a mess even with sand and drainage. looks like I will be heading to TSC tomorrow.
I though about the large tarp with the post in the middle but the snow we had last night would have torn that also.
The one from TSC looks tight..tight enough that snow would slide off.
