homemade mash

i have a big bag of oats some natural yoghurts and a pac of bran flakes and will mix t with some water? is this a good mix for my chickens

This sounds like a great mix to me. I feed oats and Greek yogurt to my flock 3 or 4 times a week. Bran flakes should be fine too.

A friend and neighbor of mine, swears that her feeding a warm mash similar to yours, kept her hens laying all winter long, even through the coldest days and nights..

I'm sure the hens will be soon spoiled however, and expect it all the time. Better buy in bulk..lol

thanxs tried it the other day and they all ran for it (i had to make a 2nd bowl so they could all have some)
