I am sure people have done this- but it is just good to share I think!
I had a plastic watering container from TSC- it kept leaking. So I got a metal feeding tray about 6 inches high maybe 14 inches around it was $3.99 @ TSC. Then I got a bucket at Home Depot- one of the bright orange ones they sell there with their name on it- it was $3.99 (ish). I drilled a 1/2 inch hole about 4 inches above the bottom (only one). Off we went to the Chicken Corral (the coop). I sat the bucket in the feeding tray and my daughter plugged the hole- I filled it up and then filled up the feeding tray (just to save time) and she removed her finger- PERFECT! The home depot buckets are self sealing so it is airtight!
Total cost $12.... For a 5 gallon watering system! SWEET!
