Homestead (2024) The Movie

Has anyone seen this yet? I wanna know! It came out just before Christmas on the 20th.

When I first saw this trailer I scoffed. Then I watched it again and... I'm psyched!

It's now sold out in 458 theathers nationwide.

What do you think BYC? Are you ready to Homestead???
I'm psyched too! On Tuesdays, our local theater charges $7.50 to see a movie. So as soon as it's here, I'll be there on a Tuesday to see it! Of course I'll add a big bucket of popcorn and a large diet Dr pepper!

My parents just went and saw it a few days ago. They said it was ok, but they weren't real impressed with it I guess. I was going to go see it with a couple friends too but decided not to after what they said. So I can't speak from experience. 🤷🏻‍♀️
It has to be really good to impress my parents though so there is that, haha.

Yeah you know it's only a movie can't expect too much. I think of it as a thought excercise, that will have some predictability.

Yeah. The concept is intriguing though. I'll watch it when it comes out on streaming services I'm sure. Interested in hearing what everyone else thinks!
At first I completely had the wrong impression when I watched the trailer initially. I rewatched, and learned about the studio behind it. I'm glad it's not going going to be like the rest of the apocalyptic garbage that's out there centered around violence, gore, or total dystopia.

Now, does that mean it will be like a cheesy Halmark film? Personally I'm hoping for something in the middle.
