Ok, wow... we do have a really bad mice problem so they can actually hurt her?

I'm not sure how much mice would actually hurt her. @aart any idea?

Mice and rats will eat even giant sea birds (albatross) Alive while they sleep.. and that's a bird with a 12 foot+ wingspan.

Wow, I'd hate for you to loose the hen or the hatching egg's. Do you have an incubator to help finish out the hatch if you need to?

We are going to pray for their safety tonight and reevaluate tomorrow morning. My hubby is on a work trip and my kids are on a sleepover so I don't really have anyone to help me with her.I have a bad back so it would be hard for me to move her and carry her all the way to the garage. I have set out traps near the nest so hopefully it will stop whatever is coming near her. Right now it is just a big mystery and I am just praying everything turns out ok.
