My cats sit and stare at my chickens all day. I think mine are more curious than anything. They run for their lives when I turn the chickens lose. I just hope that ones just curious and not thinking snack.

That's funny because my cat did the same exact thing to the newborn puppies a few weeks ago. Abby had to have a C section so I brought the puppies home with me for the night for her to recoop. That cat laid by those puppies all night under the heat lamp. Cute
