I guess I have totally abnormal behavior....do you think I should seek out help? Does anyone know of a good
12 step program. I DON'T HAVE ANY CHICKS, QUAIL, GUINEAS, DUCKS OR OTHER FARM ANIMAL IN MY HOUSE! Do you think
there's hope for me?

Now I didn't mention the 3 cats asleep on my bed or the four dogs stretched out on the only 2 couches we have! There's no
furniture in our living room or den that is suitable for human use!

I have 4 bantom OEGB and plan on getting more in the spring,here's my order for this spring"

I only want up tp 7 egg layers so the rest are for meat or to sell, I could get $10 per bird selling them on kijiji at a few weeks old. I could get into trouble as our city has no chicken by laws but the nieghboring ones do and it's a 10 hen limit! No ducks are allowed so I'll be hiding the ducks until butcher time. Hardly anyone has chickens in my town the new hampsir ex's are supposed to be extra quite so I fugured I'll keep all of those and 3 barred rock.

Hi I am ChickenCrazed aka Laura and I am rapidilly becoming an addict!

I have only 1(3day old) Light Brahma chick in my dining room in the brooder

not that I didn't try to have more...

I can't wait to fill up the incubator again with Silkie eggs and add more fuzzy butts to our 2nd coop!

I also have 1 Light Brahma rooster and 3 Light Brahma Hens

5 Buff Brahma pullets and 5 Dark Brahma pullets on the way March 1st!

Boy I am glad I got this off of my chest!

Hi my name is Laney and I'm an addict.

In my Master Bath I have:

1 White Java 5 weeks old
1 Delaware 3 weeks old
10 Mottled Java added today mixed ages 2-3 weeks old.

In my Living room incubator 24 eggs, Delawares, Barred Rock and BBS Orpingtons.
In my Dining Room incubator which had to be started up because I bought one more egg than my Living room incubator could fit I have that extra Delaware egg, 4 Delaware eggs from my girl, and 3 Java eggs I got at our local Whole Foods. I just couldn't justify starting the incubator up for just one egg now could I?

No plans for a second hatch until these Java's and Delawares grow out and I see who gets to stay and who has to grow as I plan to breed to standard. I'll have all the layers I need for the season plus a few for my neighbor who needs to get into chickens for the eggs. (he'll get the rejected/substandard hens) So I'll be Hatching again once the best of these Hens start laying.

Very anxiously anticipating the arrival of 8 EE late April, early May (if we ever get rid of the snow!!) I have my brooder ready, and am trying to control myself not to call and have them shipped early because we are vacationing in late March, early April. My outside coop in on order and due to be shipped the first week of May.
