Honey bees

i have 1 bee hive expanding to 2 next week

I had 10 hives when I was a kid, Each had 3 supers and two brooders. I'd sell the honey to get money to buy more and better equipment....then I joined the Navy and they stedily declined and Pop got rid of them...

I got to the point where I could walk to the apiary and say "This one, This one, and That one....but don't go near that one...they are in a bad mood today..."

Lost of fun but I can't have a hive here in San Diego. Too much liability, too many rules, too many lawers.....

Hi. Beek here in Minnesota. Hives are currently in about 18" of snow!
