Honking Roo

[Damummis]

I have a light Brahma roo who is 20 weeks old. He has never crowed. Instead he honks, like a goose. Anyone else experience this?

My rooster honked for ages. He's younger than yours now and does crow (though not quite correctly), but I think that's just a figuring-it-out sort of thing.

Enjoy it while you can... once he learns properly he'll be really loud.
