Poor Honky lost Stubs in July. And now he’s stuck in the midst of 43 ducks....loud ducks..lol. I’m worried that he’ll be depressed in the barn over the winter with no grass and no best buddy. I can’t buy a baby goose because he’s 7 months old and wouldn’t be interested. Does anyone have any ideas. And Stubs was injured and couldn’t eat grass for awhile...I had a hard time getting him to eat regular food.....any hints on getting a goose to eat pellets?
Poor Honky....

Poor Honky!! Hate to hear about Stubs...how heartbreaking :hit

Keep an eye out on Craigslist for a buddy...sometimes they pop up. Hard to find geese this time of year unless you can find a breeder trying to thin their flock :(

You could also try your state's thread on here. :fl

As for the pellets, just keep them around as free choice...you can mix some scratch or bird seed in it, sometimes it makes it more appealing.
