Hoop’s egg update :)

So I posted a thread about my chicken Hoop not laying and this morning she laid an egg !! I'm like 90% sure this her egg because when i picked it up i could tell it was fresh and it was almost like a soft shell. I still don’t know what type of chicken she is, that’s what I need to figure out next. This is sorta off topic, but how many eggs do chickens lay a day? I've looked it up and it says they can lay up to 2 eggs, but other sites say its only possible for 1 egg a day, so i'm a little confused, if anyone knows the answer please let me know.

Congrats on your sweet bird's egg! Only once has one of my sweeties layed twice a day, and I've had them for quite a while. Usually each bird in my flock lays 5-7eggs per week.
