hoop house now with wood back and egg door!

I finally got a wooden back on my hoop house. Now I don't have to walk thru a poopy coop to get eggs! Yeah for me!

what did you use to attach the hoops to the wire? and what did you use for your hoops?

we have some good wind here. how do the hoops do in wind?

We had a storm last spring with winds up to 80 miles an hour and a microburts and the hoop house took it with no problems. The base is 2X4's and heavy so that probably helps.

that makes sense about the base. from this picture i did't know it had a base. probably woulnd't need a base most places but i was just thinking about some of the wind here. i really did't realize that pvc could bend like that. i have some ideas for a couple things around here. what does one tube like you used cost.

think they were about 10 bucks each, perhaps a tad less. they are schedule 40.
