Hooray!!! Cattle dog and rooster tag team.

Flock was outside this afternoon in their poultry net “supervised” run. Rooster started freaking out, cattle dog took off like a rocket. Chased a coyote for half mile. Dog and rooster tag team. Holy heck. That was an afternoon adventure. Just wanted to share.

Aren't they great!
I also have a cattle dog/border collie mix. He and my other 2 guardian dogs listen for alarm noise(and they know the difference from the egg song) and are off like a shot when something is going on.
I also have some guineas, and EVERYBODY listens to them when they alarm!

Always and of course hahaha. She is a Velcro dog and has literally never been that far from us. Always with her collar/ID and always up on vaccinations. She said to the coyote: keep it movin mister!!
