I am hoping my chicks are old enough to make a positive sex identity. They about 7 weeks old. This is so far the best head shot I could get of one in question. Also I was told they were Amaraucanas, but was also told they were Easter Eggers.

When should "it" comb get red and large?

EE, I can't really tell, the one on the left looks like a hen and the one on the right has a slightly pink comb but not as pink as an EE that I had at 7 weeks but the EE roo I had was a bantam and bantams mature faster.
