Hoping Roo comes home....

I came home this evening and the coop door had blown shut. I checked inside and all of my hens are safe and sound but my rooster is nowhere to be found he is a very pretty partridge rock boy. I don't see any evidence of there having been a problem....hopefully he is just hunkered down somewhere for the night. I guess it's the breaks of free range....

He may be roosting in a tree or "hunkered" down as you put it under a bush or somewhere he feels safe. I bet he'll be out in the morning.

I sure hope so! He is a really good rooster. I would hate to have to try to replace him. He is wily but not aggressive and nice to the hens.
