Hoping to add 1-2 more hens to my flock - suggestions?

I have a small coup/run but could easily accommodate another hen or two. I currently have 2 barred rocks and 1 rhode island red who are 19 weeks old. I'm looking for small, cold-tolerant egg layers that are not too flighty (I like to be able to pick them up).

Would anyone have suggestions on what breed I might search for? I've look over the profiles but would appreciate ideas based on your experience.

I would do 2 just so 1 isn't singled out by the other 3. I would do EEs for the green eggs and variety.
