the barn paint sold at lowes--Not the oil--the guy said it was too hard to work with. It was for barns and stuff.

I ended up with eleven hens and 1 bantam rooster. The hens are 4 bantem and 7 regular size. I had ten and added two more from a swap. They seem happy and have been on the roost since their first night outside. I have kept their nest boxes closed off I have two but think I made need more.

Two will be enough. I have 5 nest boxes and they all only use 2. They will wait in line and even sit on top of each other to lay their eggs in the preferred box.

X2 plus you have to think about how hot it will get in there during the summer. Maybe have some wire doors for the summer and maybe a fan if you can swing it if the heat in the summer is too much.

. They are all grown up. Got my first egg Sunday June 29. They were 16 weeks old. Today is Thursday and my total for the week is 4 so far. All happy and healthy except zibby's still doesn't fly and seems to take a lot of junk from the roo however she has her own hiding space and is still the first at the food bowl
