Horizontal Nipple Waterers... in your opinion, yes or no?

The stock tank deicer I use has its own thermostat. It turns on at about 35 degrees and off again at 40. The water never gets warm. It merely stays thawed.

Mine is too but being a licensed electrican I just don't trust it so I also have it on a timer. I've seen way too many of those thermostats fail on stuff so I just put mine on a timer since our winters are so much milder one or two hours of run time is all I need.

i would just attach a garden hose to an auto waterer and not have to fill up waterers. easier

Wanna come run 200 yards of water line for me? Might as well put a pump in my pond since it's 75 feet away but then I'd have to run 100 yards of electrical or pull the generator down there.

200 yards is nothing...or just at a frost free spigot tapped off of that line

I got 800 yards of 1 inch abs pipe. You come dig it I'd be more than happy to have running water in my coop and down at my dog pen. Right now catching rain in barrels works great for me.

BTW I live in arkansas red clay and iron ore so ya betta bring a real sharp shovel. The frost line here is 24 inches deep.

i have two 50 gallon barrels...but they get topped off during the summer by the well
