Horny Roosters

The roosters have integrated. One even gets a decent spot on the roost. I let the young ones have the run with the older hens for awhile. Just for just a moment I let the roosters in the run hoping the young ones had enough time and would dart back into the coop to get away from the scary hens. One imedietly grabbed a little by the neck feather. I literally pulled the rooster off by his neck feathers and he still wouldnt let go for a few seconds. I was rougher than I have ever been with both of them to keep them away from the littles. Lesson learned. There must be a fence between them.

They forgive me. One of them just fell asleep in my hand. My old rooster would never do that.

They will be exhausted too of all the chasing and excitement.
