Horrible Rooster Behavior, How Do I Get It To STOP?!?!

(I can't help but think that sentiment applies to some children I know, too! LOL)

It seems reasonable that the more the pet, the more confident and enthusiastic a rooster may be about challenging you for the top bird position when the time comes, whereas a more fearful or unfamiliar bird would be more wary of people. I was very alert to the first signs of aggression in my "pet" and didn't allow it to become a habit or escalate beyond 2-3 incidents. Again, the story isn't over but he's being very nice for now.

If you don't have the time or interest in interacting with them, then keeping them unsocialized and wary of people seems efficient and makes perfect sense. I am enjoying the interaction and find it interesting.
