Got home later than planned. Ran out back to put Icy and her last chick in the carrier for the night. No chick. Looked everywhere. Noticed a bunch of light feathers all over. Icy must have put up a huge fight for her baby. Makes me sick. We have four cats, but we are responsible pet owners, and keep them contained. I guess I need a live trap.
:rantIt was a frizzled black Cochin.

Nothing on any of the cameras last night. It's been somewhat foggy out at night lately. A fox the night before.

It visit my years the other day. I was closing up the smaller pen when I heard a ruckus at the big pen. Looked up to see our big EE cockrel chasing a white and grey car out of that side of the pen. It started to go in the other side of the pen when it saw me and ran under a bush. By the time I got one side locked up it was halfway between the bush and the pen, coming back to try again. It's probably owned, but people just let them run lose.

This will teach me to check auto correct before posting! The EE was chasing a CAT.
I have no idea what I was trying to say in the first sentence.
The cat came back and got Icy's last chick, a cute black Cochin frizzle. Icy must have fought hard. There are lots of her feathers next to the pen.
