BEAUTIFUL!!! I think we would get another horse but it’s such a drought at the moment...
Most likely this is the new normal and worse... :( We are in our 90's here with high humidity. We still have grass for now. Hoping for a normal wet winter not a dry one. I'm tired of hot and dry... :rolleyes:
Do you normally rely on grazing or is it just feed has gotten more $$$? We do both because it all helps. We have not had a lot of grass to cut or graze on for awhile though.

He gets a biscuit of hay in the morning and evening but this is it at the moment absolutely no grass:

Yup definitely. They’re saying this could be the worst fire season in like 5 years! But in some ways summers the best because whilst it’s fire season there is also summer storms in the afternoons
I wish you all the best and again, hope for some wet weather to come your way- to, at the least, keep down the dust.
My little mule got a bath on Wednesday and has remained clean for two whole days- a miracle. He really can be stunning sometimes, like this morning.
