So we got our farm a few weeks ago yay!!!!!
So we are on the way to our new farm with the mini horses i will post pictures tomorrow

Oh wow I haven't seen this thread in a while!

How has everyone and their horse/s been?

This week I helped out at my barn's summer camp, and it was a lot of fun, although really hot. I helped a girl learn how to barrel race for the first time, which was really cool. I'm hoping to possibly help out in more camps for some money since I don't have a job yet, so this was a nice chance to figure that out, since I had been considering it!

Hombe is good and Cisco too though I almost got kicked last eve at feeding time. One of those feel the wind in your face kind of sidekicks. It absolutely surprised me as Cisco is so respectful of people and their space, it is Hombre that I watch out for because he will run a body over for a carrot. Such a dork. Anywho, I am pretty sure Cisco just got ahead of himself and did not mean anything by it but I did have a talk with him about not kicking mommy. That would be bad.... little stinker.
I have not been riding in forever. It is so hot that I am ok with not riding much but know I am slacking for sure. Cisco has a saddle sore from DH using too thin of a blanket for too long and not a great saddle fit which is a head scratcher with a flex. Maybe because Cisco has such a wide back that the flex is a bad fit. Anywho, DH cut a hole in his pad as the solution men. But Cisco has also been on hiatus for the last month. We have a few other saddles around here for him to switch up but who knows what he is going to do. I can only make suggestions.

I hope you gals are doing ok. I personally am a little cranky from the heat and the covid and the politics. I just want it to cool off and an adult get hired into the WH so we can all not hate each other and good, smart policies can be implemented. This all has been going on for too long. Enough already... can you tell it is all getting to me lol. Def time for some Hombre playtime.

I didn't want to discuss or hear any of it. I wanted to buy the feed and leave. Why is it that you can't go anywhere with out this barrage of stupid conversation?! It's made me very antisocial.

I agree, I hate politics it’s so stressful to hear about them but at the same time I don’t wanna be rude and walk away.
