Hey fantastic! Congratulations on your two 2nd places and thanks for sharing with us story and photos too!!! I'm a visual person and appreciate the new view. Amarillo is gorgeous and in good shape. Fantastic coloring. You two look good! I'm glad you had a good time and maybe some new friends. Looking forward to hearing about your next adventures, sounds like you will compete again

I have not played with my guy for awhile and feel pretty guilty at this point. It's been raining pretty hard for a few days with more rain in the forecast. He's being a chunky dirtball orphan poor thing

Thank you!! I would love to compete again, although for right now I'm not gonna go into anymore shows, seeing I still don't have a job and spent all my Christmas money on this one... Perhaps money-wise it was a bad decision, but it was fun nonetheless.

It's funny when Amarillo is shaved...she's that silvery color you see there, since she was just shaved last week. She's normally a pretty bay color, but then she looks like a different horse when shaved! Amo does really well for being 25: she loves to do games like barrel racing and will jump, too. My sister rode her a lot before I started riding her and jumped her all the time. (With limits, though, since my trainer doesn't want to hurt her/over exert her) She's a special mare!

Aw, well, I can understand with the all the rain! I hope it clears up again soon so you can do more stuff with him. I always feel nervous riding in muddy conditions because I feel like the horse can slip/trip way easier. I probably don't give the horses enough credit, though.

I have been spending a lot more time with my horse Hudson but it’s so wet I can’t ride! Ironic I got two rides in before it started pouring with rain and drenching the ground. The ground is too slippery to ride
