I live on a show horse farm, OAKWOOD Stables, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Have had chickens off and on for over 35 years. Thought I like to raise some different chicks. Really enjoying them. Spending quite a bit of time handling them. Hope to make them Like people. Would like for grandchildren to enjoy them.
 
Nice to meet your Eileen. So glad you joined Backyard chickens. What breed of horses do you show? My adult niece has been horse crazy since she was a youngster
 
We have been breeding Dutch Warmbloods for the jumper. We also have been raising dressage horses that we purchased in europe. My husband and I are trying to downsize..we have 30 box stalls but we're down to 11 horses, Yay!!!. The chicks are just for fun and some eggs
