Salmon got to the edge of the water. She dipped her foot in, shivers going through her body at the cold temperature. She walked straight into the water and started swimming around, getting used to the temperature.

Maya laughed, "Come on, come in deeper." She scrambled out onto the bank of the river. On the Oak Herds land!

Desert smiled," thanks," he said lifting his head, which hit a branch, desert chuckled," oops...., I .. Don't recognize you, are you from the oak herd?!"

Lynari shook her head. "No... I'm a Loner -- I don't travel with any herd, most of the time."

"No offense taken," Poppy whinnied, "Ollie has to come soon, his mom makes him come two or three times a week. He used to take me for rides all the time, but that was when I lived at his house. When I moved here, and he didn't have to take care of me very much, he seemed to lose interest."

"Yeah those were the good ol days," silver said with a slight chuckle," allan used to bring his grandkids over all the time, but I think something happened to him..., I haven't seen him in awhile,"

Storm, while rearing up, saw a horse that didn't belong to his herd, with an angry snort, he started running over to the intruder.

Maya turned around just in time to see a horse running at her. She stood her ground, guessing (correctly) that the horse was smaller than her.
