Desert strained his ears and heard the same thing," I hear them too, " he said

Tallulah: the sounds are coming closer. *as she said that, a mother and her babies came running out of the woods, followed by another group of humans.*

" Tallulah run!" He shouted out of instinct ,"What the?! What's going on?!" He shouted

*Tallulah reared up a little with surprise when the humans threw a rope around the mother's neck, causing her to stop in her tracks while the foal ran ahead.* we should both go! These humans seem really bad.

Desert turned to run but his big mushy heart couldn't leave the foal, while he couldn't save the mom, he could keep the foal safe and apparently that's what the mother thought because as she was being dragged away she begged desert to keep the young foal safe," come on lil one!" He said hurriedly as the young foal tried to run to it's mother, desert nudged it the other way and it eventually gave in and followed him out of fear of the humans

Desert turned to run but his big mushy heart couldn't leave the foal, while he couldn't save the mom, he could keep the foal safe and apparently that's what the mother thought because as she was being dragged away she begged desert to keep the young foal safe," come on lil one!" He said hurriedly as the young foal tried to run to it's mother, desert nudged it the other way and it eventually gave in and followed him out of fear of the humans

*Tallulah also stuck to the foals side as she ran along with them.*

Desert new why, this had happened before, to him. " They. .... They want to catch them and sell them, they are bad news. Trust me," he said shakily as the memories flooded back, but he couldn't think about that now, he had to take care of tallulah and this little foal

" I know, I think I saw some horses down the hill. I think they are catching alot more then we know about! Let's get this little one to a safe place," desert said sadly
