Horse Talk

Oh yeah, lots of people around here have barbed wire fences with hedge posts, they use them as their perimeter fences and everything, for horses and cows

I made an Instagram just for my horses, so if anyone wants to see a bunch of pictures of them, it's jasmine_june_horses
Also, I think I get to keep the geldings at my grandparents, at least for this summer.
Oh, and out of pole bending, roping, reining, and jumping, what's the LEAST difficult, in your opinion?

Depends on the horse.

I would imigane that jumping is the most difficult for riders, and would definitely be the most difficult for my little stumpy legged fatties lol, I just like to dream about it, but out of the other three, I think June would do well at all of them, but I'm not sure what would be easiest for me to learn. Probably pole bending, because I'd have to teach June too. This summer Id like to work towards something with the horses.
My pinto gelding isn't old enough to start under saddle yet, and he's still spooky so I'm going to desensitize all summer.
The red one is ready to start, so I'll probably just work on getting him started and take him on some trails.
And then do lots of groundwork with Jasmine since she's still a baby, that way she's a well mannered adult.
But June gets so bored, so I'm trying to pick a job for her. Her favorite thing right now is riding on the road, but the reckless people in cars make me nervous so we need something else to do

Pole bending and roping are probably the most exhilarating of the sports you listed. But I can say that reining is a blast! I used to take lessons on a reiner, and he was an awesome horse (once we figured eachother out). Jumping would probably be fun, too, but only if the horse is built for it. Tall and skinny, but strong.
