Well I wouldn't judge you for laughing, it's a pretty ridiculous difference! Lol. I think it was good for us though. We both learned a thing or two about riding. Also my everything is sore

That is pretty funny!

We regularly ride 7-10 miles, and some routes have creek crossings and some don't (so water available during the ride sometimes and other times not). So, for the 10 mile rides with no creek crossings, we offer water at home, trailer out and ride, trailer home and offer water again without any problems.

I'm hoping to trailer an hour, offer water, ride a two hour benefit trail ride, offer water, trailer an hour home, offer water. Is thatgood?o this is my first time riding somewhere other than home, so I'm nervous.

Sounds like a good water schedule, just know your horse may not drink if they're nervous. If it were me (nervous type person) I'd find someone with a super calm horse to ride with, and a place about half an hour away to trailer to, where you can "test ride" before you go to a benefit ride where there may be a lot of action going on.

I dont know anyone to ride with.... And there's nowhere within a half hour of here to ride. I'm trying to find out about borrowing a trailer this week for next weekend, but hate borrowing stuff.

Is there a local facebook equestrian or farm page? Or even yard sale/event page. You can usually find someone who is interested in a riding buddy, and someone may even have some trails at their house.
