I'm sooo in love already.

Also she is VERY playful, if I run she will chase me, run past me, kick up her heels, toss her head. Is it okay to let her do this? Or should I not encourage it?
I've never had a youngster that's been playful like this

Some people would probably say to discourage it but I've also seen people who do natural horsemanship and the like play with their horses? So I think as long as you start and end the play it should be okay? But her starting it and going crazy like that might be bad and dangerous when she gets big? Maybe you could discourage that but play with her when you start it? But then you running kind of is starting play so if you like it i would think it might be fine? I don't know

As for your question about June, I think you should be able to find someone to do that!

I say no. My grandpa has a gelding lile that actually ran him over one time.

Hmm. I'm pretty conflicted on it. On one hand I can see how it can turn bad, but on the other if you've ever seen sofieshorsetales on Instagram (or someone like her) it seems like she has success with it. I will do some more research on it.
On the bright side, although Jasmine does chase me and kick up her heels, everything seems very calculated, like she's making sure to go around me and not hit me.
She also somewhat comes to me when I whistle, so while I've got her separated from the others I'm going to try and turn that into a habit.
Maybe if I can instill a good "whoa" in her then we'll be able to play and I can easily stop her if she gets too rowdy.

This horse will stop if you say whoa so but he just got to excited. My grandpa and i were both yelling him whoa and my grandpa pushed me out of the way and this horse ran him over. He usually missed us by 10 feet or more. 1 mistake can make you or break you

Good points. I just see so many Liberty horses that run freely with their owners, and I'm wondering what's behind it. They must use the playfulness somehow, but I'm not sure how they do it safely.
June has no playfulness, she would never run with me, I've tried to get her to trot on the lead rope and I can lean all my weight into it and try to jog and she's like "nope", she's only got one speed lol. I'd like to channel Jasmines willingness into something good, if I can. But I'll keep researching more before I continue to encourage or discourage her behavior.

Also, late night thought, how unacceptable would it be to have a giant pasture full (okay not packed full but you get me) of BLM mustangs, who have basic ground manners but are other wise left to run free?
Sorry, that's just what I daydream about on occasion

I would say yes, but carry a super short whip/crop or something when you play with her, so she learns to respect your space.

The playing with a horse at liberty needs to come after all other groundwork and respect is instilled!!!
