Horse whinny sound from duck?

Has anyone ever heard this sound from their duck? Lately when I put them to bed, Raspberry (my female duck) gets all excited, digs around in the hay with her bill and 'whinnies'. I really can't describe it any other way.

It sounds like a happy noise, so I'm not concerned, but it's just super weird!

If what I think you're describing; that is the noise they make when they're content. You'll see it when they're rummaging around through bedding, grass, treats, etc. Almost sounds like they are humming to me when I hear it.

Oh yes, I know what you are talking about!! My ducks always do it when I clean out their room and give them fresh straw. They run/waddle in and do what I feel is exclaim in pleasure. I feel really appreciated for my hard work.
