You know they sell the foals that don’t make the cut. You could get a Budweiser Clydesdale that way. I had a friend who asked her husband is she could get a Friesian and he let her, not realizing how rare and expensive they are lol. Jester is quite the fella. I think one of my favorite crosses is a Percheron/friesian cross. The farm I grew up at had two of these black beauties and they were GORGEOUS.Personally, I love to ride draft horses. I had big Percherons for many years. They each were over six feet at the withers and weighed over a ton. If I were to buy a saddle horse I think I would try to find a Friesian. I have thought about trying to buy a retired Budweiser Clydesdale.
