I sell stuff. Thus, I must make stuff.
This month it is Critters on a stick.

What do you think? Are they worth $15.00 each?

And the Unicorns are still being worked on. They will be a purple floral print with white vinyl horns and white mane w/ long braid. They are adorned with a shiny vinyl purple heart festooned with lace and bead work.

hahaha, I love it....and yes I would certainly pay 15 bucks for one of those, I know my son would love them, but he has a couple horsey ones laying about he often plays with. Awesome job!!

Given the time and materials I would think they could bring more like $35 minimum each. Mostly, it depends upon your market!

They're adorable!

Here's the promised Unicorn! She will be priced at no less than $20. Putting on that heart with the lace and beading was a pain! Her sister has ribbon instead of beading, and a little thinner mane. Otherwise, same animal.

The pattern on these called for that horn to be held on with velcro! Can you imagine how long that would stay on? Not. Mine are sewn on securely for rough kid-play!

Yes, my DH is constantly after me to include labor costs in my prices. I would never sell anything if I did that!

One of my pet peeves is when people will go to Toys-R-Us and spend $50 on a plastic doohicky that will be broken and forgotten in 3 months, but turn away an heirloom toy that could be passed down to the next generation. And why do they do that? Because it's not "store-bought" or advertised on TV or connected with the most recent movie.

If I run out, I will make more. Everything in my inventory is based on demand, the more demand, the more I make.

All are made for sale at my local Farmer's Markets, but I do take credit/debit cards, so shipping elsewhere would be possible. You would have to pay the postage of course.

Here is a link to my facebook page of current inventory. If you have seen an item elsewhere that you liked, send me a link. I can probably make it for you.

Oh those are absolutly adorable! I remember having a horsey on a stick growing up and LOVED it. We moved around alot though and I think it was tossed out, along with my AMAZING "pink polk-a-dot pony" costume my mom made me. It had a yarn mane like that with matching tail. I think it really was my mom's pride... until the prom dress she made me (that I still have)

Those are adorabe!! I think $15 is not enough, I know what it takes to make stuffed animals and dolls and it is alot of work!

And I dont mean to be a downer but you do know that it is illegal to sell anything made from someone elses pattern without their permission? Even if it is a large pattern producer. Patterns are copyrighted and you can be fined for reproducing them for sale. Hope you dont take the info the wrong way, I just dont want you to get in trouble.
