(fun about the lake! Ok, so Estella was out in the river and almost drowned, but Zelig saved her. Hades (a new colt) had been talking with both Estella and Sapphire (a new filly), and Estella had been confiding in Penny. A new stallion (a loner) joined the herd, and has been walking with Brandywine.)

Phantom watched Bradywine sideways on the way back to the herd. He wondered why she wasn't mad at him. His red mane fluttered in the breeze and his black flank reflected the afternoon sun. He didn't quite know what to do with himself, it was only his first day but he had already developed his attraction to this mare.
