Beautiful. The ex-racers for some reason have the best personalities.

Thanks everyone :D He sure is beutiful in my eyes. Your so right @showmanshiptop on personality, only of late has Harry's changed. Due to age though and a few health problems. Heart murmur and a touch of arthritis have slowed him down that bit. Still the same loving horse but not quite with that thoroughbred sparkle he had. Given he started flat racing at 2 yeas old I don't think he has done bad to get to 20 with very little issues :D

Yeah. I had an ex racehorse that we got from a ranch for a couple years and I'm told when he died he was around 40

Wow that's a great age! We had a little Shetland X pony at the farm and she made it to 39. Was a very sad day when she passed as we had all grown up with her and all ridden her when we were kids. Everyone learnt to ride on Bubs :love

It was. Many of my family members learned to ride on him when he was at the ranch. He also got to go hunting. I put the saddle i used to ride him in on my horse for my little brother at was good to see it used but brought back memories. After my bother rode I hopped on in that saddle. It was strange, I'd had that saddle to use with that horse, Diamond and here it was on my horse Ticket.

Hi everyone! I have a few broad questions....I don't have a horse yet but I will be getting one in the next 2 months. This will be my first horse ever so any tips help! My questions range anywhere between what the best gravel/dirt/sand is best to keep mud down aound the run-in, to does my horse HAVE to eat grain/supplements. Thanks!

I don't think this thread is really that active (although maybe you can revive it! :D ) so you might have a better chance at being answered here :)

As for the questions, I'm not really sure. But the other one's really active
