I love horses. I have 7 of them, and a donkey.

Angel -Medicine Hat Paint mare (4 y/o)

Baby - Palomino QH gelding (24 y/o)

Dakota - Chestnut QH mare (3 y/o)

Daisy - Miniature Donkey jenny (22 y/o)

Patches - Paint stud (1.5 y/o) our rescue horse. He was in terrible shape when we got him, but is slowly getting better.

Molly - Gaited mare (2.5 y/o)

Lilo - Miniature Paint mare (2 y/o)

Waylow -Miniature black stud (15 y/o)

I have 2 horses and yes I love my chickens too! LOL!
My horses are Rose(18) who is a arab/saddlebred mix...and
Sophie(21) who is a pure arab.
They are wonderful trail horses and Sophie is a great kids horse!

Don't get to ride much these days, but they sure do make lovely lawn ornaments It's such a joy to give them a call and see them galloping across the pasture - there's not a more beautiful sight in the World!

2 Mustang mares, one gray and one cremello
6 Quarter horse mares, one blue roan, one palomino, 2 blacks, and 2 sorrels.
3 bs paints, one bay gelding, one black mare, and one blue roan mare.

Hopefully I can work on getting those numbers down some this spring!

I have two. A 12 y/o Belgian "Chantilly" - Rescued from Kill Pen by Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue. I adopted her February of 2007. And a 17 y/o Quarter Horse "Duncan" - Retired ranch horse from the mid-west.

Both are used for pleasure riding. Chantilly is 17.2 hands (70 inches) tall. Duncan is 15.1 hands (61 inches) tall. I say this because in this picture, Duncan looks like a pony. But he is not, it is just that she is sooo big. That fence she is standing in front of is 4 feet tall.

Here is a close up of Chantilly. She truly is a Gentle Giant. And with all of that body, 6 kids can brush her at the same time and not run out of horse and she loves it all.
