hospitalized again...

I had to do a stress test about two weeks ago, not fun. I felt fine and all, but the nurse asked if I was dizzy, seems when I laid down my blood pressure went down considerably; 84/45 or somewhere around there. I told the nurse it was un-natural to get your heart pumping so hard and just lay down......

Today I have a monitor on, trying to catch my infamous "flutter" I keep feeling 1-2 times a month.

Hope you feel better, will say a prayer for you.

I am not on any medications, but you mentioned your heart flipping a couple of times a month. I had that and went to a very well known heart specialist and he told me to try magnesium. I did, took 10 days to fill my tubes as he said, and they went completely away. Have any of the doctors said anything about your magnesium level? You can't overdose on it, as the body uses what it needs and expels the rest, but might be worth investigating. Sorry you are sick, my DH is disabled due to congestive heart failure which is very well controlled and diabetes, so I sort of know what you are going through. He just had the nuclear stress test and it came out really good! Good Luck and feel better soon!!!

I'm feeling so so. I sleep a lot because I'm tired a lot.

Just to clarify... I DO NOT have diabetes but my father did.

I will write more later but I rented a movie for me and my mom and we are going to sit down and watch it now.

Thanks so much for everyone's added prayers and hugs and helpful suggestions.

toodles,

my heart has PVC's... a weak beat, skip beat, regular beat and I throw out a LOT of pvc's like 23 a minute and it's because of the scar on my heart on the bottom from my heart attack last April.

my electrolytes were low though from being on 2 diuretics and having a tummy bug.

no talk about valve replacement yet mahonri.

and this wasn't the nuclear stress test this time though i had that one before too... this one they pump me with speed and a dye called destiny to be able to see my heart better with the ultrasound.
