Beaker has been busy playing dolls with Olivia and Sophia.
He spent all DAY Wednesday glued to the computer watching the dramatic rescue of "Los 33." He cheered whenever each one made it out, but he started blowing his horn when Mr. Urzua, the last miner, came out-I had to quiet him down, before he woke the sleeping children!
Thank God it is over and all of the men are safe!!!
After an hour and a half delay, with his little face pressed against the window, it finally arrived.
"Is that the plane? Our Plane? It looks kinda small".
"Billy, thats not a lime. That's a lemon that isn't ready yet. You can pick a lemon from the bottom of the tree."
Billy had to jump up a few times, but he finally got a lemon:
Billy ran away after picking the lemon. I was surprised he lost interest that fast. Or so I thought:
"Whatcha doing Billy"?
"Well, I want to make fresh lemonade for you. I tried jumping on the lemon to squish it.
Did you ever jump on a large ball?
No? I wouldn't recommend it. It makes your butt hurt."
" The hammer isn't working either. Oh.. Hey! I got it now!"
Billy has a word of advise for everyone-
" When you want to make fresh lemonade- make sure you squish the lemon over a bowl- not in the dirt."
As we were driving down the road to Orpington Manor, we pointed out Mt Diablo in the distance. I was telling Billy about our big pine cone coming from Mt. Diablo, and how Beaker visited there when he was visiting Orpington Manor.
Billy seemed to be deep in thought. I again pointed to Mt. Diablo.
Billy said, and I quote
" Yeah, the mountain is nice, but someone needs to water the grass- the mountain is all brown."
After a pause he said " Can you explain to me how being in traffic is calming?"
